Our Purpose

Poverty, limited healthcare, and barriers to education continue to hinder the potential of countless communities across Africa. Our purpose is to create lasting, positive change by addressing these challenges directly, providing resources and opportunities that empower individuals and build resilient communities.

To fulfill our purpose, we work in close collaboration with local partners and community leaders to design and implement impactful programs. Our initiatives in health focus on accessible medical care and preventive education; in women’s empowerment, we prioritize skill-building, financial support, and leadership development; and in education, we aim to provide resources and infrastructure to help every child reach their full potential.

By centering our approach on partnership, transparency, and sustainable development, we strive to empower communities to take control of their future, creating a ripple effect that fosters progress across generations. Through these collective efforts, Fondation LÉK’OBA is dedicated to building a healthier, more educated, and equitable Africa for all.

Our Values

In 2025, the Fondation LÉK’OBA core values has been defined through a collaborative process involving a series of workshops and discussions.

These values are the foundation of our work, guiding our approach both within the organization and in all interactions with partners, beneficiaries, and communities across Africa.

By engaging team members through questionnaires and open workshops, we collectively identified values that authentically reflect our commitment to compassion, empowerment, and transparency. These values are the cornerstone of our organizational culture and set the standard for how we work to create sustainable impact.
